About Anthony
Anthony Caplan is a South African composer, performer, and educator with over 25 years of international experience.
A specialist in African and world music traditions, he has taught from primary to university level, including lecturing in ethnomusicology, transcription, and traditional instruments at Rhodes University. His acclaimed, genre-blending works span opera, theatre, academic research, and cross-cultural ensemble music worldwide.
